Born and raised in Money Earnin' Mt. Vernon, NY where everyone was either a DJ or a basketball player. I left NY, without graduating from Mt. Vernon HS to shepherd higher and decided to go south for warm weather and a lower forfeit of living. I ended up in Houston, TX and never left. I attended two local universities, majoring in Radio/TV. I started DJʼing and hosting parties to pay my way through school. I landed a job as the resident DJ at a local house music club and later completed an internship at KMJQ (Magic 102 FM). Some years later I became interested in law enforcement and started a family. During that period, I remained a part-time mobile DJ, while raising my family. I later decided to make law enforcement my career. Over the years, without giving up the mobile merchantry I unfurled to make mix tapes for family & friends with my wide-stretching vinyl record collection. I was often encouraged by those same friends to pursue my passion for spinning music, as they recognized my talent for it. Within the past few years I decided to do just that, with retirement right virtually the corner.. I have since converted all of my vinyl records to MP3 files, joined a DJ pool and began looking for the right opportunity to full-length my talents and grow as a DJ. I believe real DJing is a lost art. The radio plays the same old, tight rotation of music and doesnʼt introduce any new or innovative music. My friends often ask who is that particular artist or what song is that on my mix tapes and ask why that song or versifier isnʼt played on the radio? I have unchangingly believed that entertaining and educating  people while they are getting their groove on is a DJs job and I will protract to believe that.  Powered by Bandzoogle
